Are V6 Camaro Worth It
10 Second Turbo V6 Camaro.
Are v6 camaro worth it. Either way I wouldnt really recommend a V6 Camaro not that there is anything wrong with them they are good cars but Id say either go all out and get an SS or get something that is a better value until you can. There are a lot more mods out for it and you get the V8 sound. The V6 overall is going to be a better daily driver.
The base RT V8 is a waste in the Challenger IMO. I actually owned 2 different ones and never EVER had an issue. Take for example the Chevrolet Camaro SS.
Trust me its the reason I have two cars now. Why buy the diet version of the car. The L36 engine is an AMAZING engine that has been on Wards Top 10 two or three times.
The V8s cost more but at least in the case of the camaro are not that much more expensive to run. Even now the ecoboost mustang and the v6 camaro are great performance values but they are absolutely doomed to live in the shadow of their bigger SSGT brothers. It has better gas mileage cheaper to purchase and insure and still has the look of a Camaro if you do visual mods.
With headers you are getting into territory where it is easy for them to get out of the drivetrain warranty though. NPP exhaust is touted as a nice upgrade for your 2016 Camaro as a reasonable 895 add on. Im a college student so Im on a bit of a budget and was looking to maybe get a 2LT.
But what bothers me is my Recaros have heating and ventilation neither of these can be used with the Technology package. Acceleration and Power The Camaros 36-liter V6 engine now produces 323 horsepower at 6800 rpm and 278 pound-feet of torque at 4800 rpm. One pound of boost is worth about an 8 percent improvement in power on most engines so seven psi of boost should be worth about 100 horsepower on a 180-horsepower engine without requiring a new computer.
